Student and Postdoc Roadshow 2016 – 29th November
The CRUK Oxford Centre would like to invite you to come along to a Student and Post doc Roadshow. This event will bring together students and researchers across different departments who are interested in cancer research to network and learn more about available opportunities.
The afternoon will showcase the career path of two Oxford Centre researchers who have navigated from their PhD through to starting their own research groups; one a clinician, one a basic scientist.
The day will help students and post docs enhance their future career prospects by providing an overview of available funding, as well as how to make the most of the available training resources at the University of Oxford.
There will also be an opportunity for more specific guidance, with an opportunity to have a dedicated 1-1 sessions with Dr Karen Noble, Head of Research Training and Fellowships at CRUK . Please note is it strongly advised if you are interested in this that you tick the box when registering, as this will become very popular.
