DPhil Prize Studentships
The CRUK Oxford Centre Dphil Prize Studentships will be awarded to academically excellent students with the best proven and future potential. The Prize Studentships cover tuition and college fees, a £19,000 stipend for living expenses, and a budget for research and conference attendance costs. A characteristic feature of our Prize Studentships is that students are selected by the leaders in their field.
We request that academic departments nominate who they believe are the most deserving candidates, based on their academic record and ability to contribute significantly to the field of cancer research — both in the present and future. This ensures the best and brightest minds are selected for this competitive award. On average, five Prize Studentships are awarded each year and the Centre consistently seeks to leverage against other scholarships and awards to maximise the impact of our funding. Studentships are awarded at the beginning of each year through the Centre’s Training Committee, with our selected cohorts starting in the autumn term.
