We have achieved a critical mass of investment here in Oxford and the opportunities for cancer research are immense.
The Centre is committed to delivering early detection and precision medicine for cancer patients. We seek to do this through applying Oxford’s world leading scientific capabilities cancer types where we have critical mass of world leading translational know-how. To facilitate this we invest in infrastructure and resources which enable us to move research along the translational pipeline as summarised in the sections below.
Oxford’s Cancer Researchers
Our memberships spans all Departments across the Medical Sciences and Maths and Physical Life Sciences Divisions of the University, with 258 research groups and over 650 members in more than 22 Departments, Institutes, and Units producing over 18,000 co-authored publications in the last 7 years.
